Sadye Ayende is a creation of Jalil on Gaia Online aka . A plane touched who often dwells with in the City of Doors, otherwise known as Sigil.

Towards the end my summer break in 2007 I participated in a wonderful RP Contest where I met many great people who greeted me with their wonderful characters. As I got into the swing of things I began crafting my OC Emoticons to use for Roleplaying purposes. Several people expressed interest in acquiring some emotes of their OCs for their own uses and so i came up with a plan. I ran a brief mini-game contest that involved some dice rolling and the winner of the contest with earn themselves a 16 emoticon set of which ever character they desired. The winner of this contest (obviously) was Jalil and she chose Sayde to much of my joy. As I had RPed with her a lot with my own OC: Rin. We also have had many an MSN convo about the random adventures our characters would get into, since they are both based out of Dungeons & Dragons. Sufficed to say I got to know Sayde as a character almost as well as I know my own, which always helps with crafting emotes.

Of course, being a procrasta-master it has taken me this long to finish the emotes but I think it was worth the wait. I now have finally completed the set and totally wish I could romp around with them! Most of the emote descriptions may be a bit wierd/unusual but I felt it was appropriate for the character... using the slang of Planescape it really brought out the character more. Of course all the quotes were provided by Jalil herself so I take no credit in coming up with them xD... just the gawky expressions.

Personal Favorites: "Welcome to the City of Sods" (Sarcastic Hello), "Soddin' hells!" (Shocked!) and "A sod of a day" (disappointed)

I also am proud how "Lady's Grace" came out... the hand was a challenge and really was the hurdle that I procrastinated so long in doing, as at the time I didn't feel I could draw the hand appropriately to not look stupid. But I've been practicing a lot and now am confident I got the image out of my head.
